Recipes using Plantation Breader

Plantation Party Mix
¼ c. butter
4 ½ t. Lea & Perkins Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 c. Plantation Breader
8 c. Chex® Cereals (Corn, Rice, Wheat)
1 c. mixed nuts
1 c. pretzels
Melt butter. Add Worcestershire and mix well. Pour cereals,
nuts, and pretzels into 2 gal zip-top plastic bag (or a large plastic roasting bag will
do.) Pour in butter mixture. Securely seal top of bag and shake bag until contents are
evenly coated. Sprinkle 2 T. Breader over cereal mixture; secure bag and shake until
contents are evenly coated. Continue with the remainder of the Plantation Breader, 2 T. at
a time. Pour contents of bag into a large microwave safe plastic bowl. Microwave on high
for 2 minutes. Remove bowl and toss party mix like a salad to "stir". Return
bowl to microwave and cook for 2 minutes on high. Remove bowl and toss contents to
"stir". Microwave for 2 minutes more. Pour party mix onto cookie sheet and
spread out to cool.

3/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp.
Plantation Breader
1 lg. egg
3/4 c. skim milk
Mix all three ingredients in a food
processor or blender and beat together until smiooth. Lightly spray nonstick skillet
with spray and heat over medium heat. Pour in enough batter to cover the bottom of
the pan, about 3 Tbsp. When lightly brown on first side, turn and cook second side.
Place cooked crepes on a plat and cover. Repeat with remaining batter. Makes
approx. 12 8-inch crepes.
Serving Suggestions: (1) Fill
Plantation Crepes with your favorite savory filling, top with grated cheese or cream sauce
and bake, broil, or microwave. (3) Use crepes as Quesadilla shells. (3) Top
crepe with your favorite pizza toppings. (4) Line muffin tins with crepes and fill
with quiche batter.
